Council of State Governments Governance Transformation Award

In 2008, the Council of State Governments recognized GMAP with the inaugural Governance Transformation Award. Dedicated to the memory of Dr. Keon Chi, the award is given to a state program that comprehensively enhances a state’s capacity to govern effectively in the 21st century.

The Ash Institute for Democratic Governance and Innovation at Harvard Kennedy School announced GMAP as one of their Top 50 Programs of the 2008 Innovations in American Government Awards competition.  Selected from a pool of nearly 1,000 applicants, these programs represent the best in government innovation.
